Ordering cob replacements from Digi-key...

I was looking into ordering from digi-key but my buddy said that they ask all sorts of questions like, WHERE is the light going to be used? and HOW is the light going to be used... Is this creepy to anybody else or is this normal when ordering lights...

Anybody ever order from Digi-key and know why they ask for that information?

I went through the whole process all the way until putting my credit card information and I never got asked any of those questions.

My friend was full of shit because they never asked me either. I just placed the order. thanks man.
