Orange Hairs,can I leave it longer!?Potentcy?

I want to leave this baby longer so the buds will fill in more,I'm just not sure if leaving it when this many of the hairs have turned....am I gonna miss that "window" where the potentcy is the best? I've heard it can be as small of a window as 5-7 days....:eyesmoke:...This is what I use to check the trics...I think it was for reading newsprint back in the day or something...its pretty strong!??

you should get a hand held microscope from radio shack for $20 and take a look at the trichomes. that is the best way to determine when to harvest. search trichomes as a tag on this site and you'll find many threads
 
okay i know I need a damn microscope but any opinions from anyone would be appreciated...i will more than likly end up harvesting by eye...

yea I think that the plant is pretty stunted...for a couple reasons which I will be able to easily correct next time...do you think this is why they are so airy? This is my second grow and this has happened to me both times...the shit gets me nice and high but i chop up what looks like a couple g's and busts out to a small chop... I was thinking about some molasses as it seems to be really priased by ppl on here but is there a point if theres a max of two weeks here?I trimmed too many fan leaves,didn't dig my hole deep enough and used REALLY light nutes the whole time (15-30-15)this is why i think its so airy/stunted?!

A'ight, man...anxiously awaiting....smokin' is gonna kill ya....although I put T-bac in my weed....can't smoke a Cig for he life of me...makes me wanna hurl...bots or bottle tokes are good but i hate starting the smoke so bad....lol.
 
Get your broken CD-ROM and tear it apart till you see the center part (the white rectangle with the circle in the middle). That's the lens we want, you can pry it off with a pointy knife or a small screw drive. The lens should be pretty strong.

Then on my second picture you see it attached to the front of my phone (iPhone). I used some tape to hold it in place.

The tricky part is taking the pictures. To focus you'll need a lot of light coming from the side, because you'll have to have the lens on the phone really close what you want to look at. I put the leaf near the corner of my table and kinda propped the phone on the edge of the table, and tilted up and down to focus. When I say up and down, I mean a tiny bitty bit up and the same shit down...

LOL, stay away from that shit, I know it's going to kill me, but I can't quit for shit.
 
okay I'm going to tackle this tomorrow when everyone around me isn't sleeping.lol. I know what lens yur talkin about its the same as a diskman kinda...right? Anyways I'll get that lens outta the rom and try it,see what happens...my phone has a BRIGHT AS HELL flash/light on it...I use this light for everything its so bright it hurts the eyes...i'll try and use that!?!? I post the pics I take tomorrow or when the sun comes up,let me know what you think?? I like ya style homie.....ever smoke hash,on a cig,in a water bottle!?!?

I only smoke hash on premium weed, and I usually save that to a special occasion (when I feel like murdering someone LOL).

I'm looking forward to see the pictures.
