I have a carbon filter I need to setup in my room. It weight about 100lbs. Does anyone have any ideas on how to get the filter to pull hot air from the top of theroom without mounting it that high?

I was thinking of putting a large diameter ducting around the carbon filter and muffler. This would allow air to be pulled from higher in the room and be filtered out. Any other ideas?

I would need about a 24" piece of ducting but not sure if this are made.

I have my carbon filter outside my tent. My fan is also outside with a duct running from the top of the tent. I have the fan on high and it does its job. Luckily, noise isn't a problem.

I ended up building a housing for the filter 26" wide x 6 1/2 feet tall. Much cheaper than the ducting alone.

Use some fans or ducting . Stand the filter up. Hangin that shit is overrated unless your room roof is over 10 feet

What he said. Hot air rises like we all know, but the space has to big/tall enough to provide a temperature difference. If your able to exchange air in your grow space in the recommended 3-5 min with room temperature or a/c cooled air, it doesn't really matter where the filter is, at least in my experience

Install fan/filter outside room if possible. Have the ducting drawing the hot air from the top and pushing it through the carbon filter rather then pulling. Just make sure to remove pre filter from filter and place it inside the filter so in can still do its jobs.

is anyone getting it. Have you looked at the 3 way box. Mine is floor mounted...well wall mounted. I use "a venturi" to suck the air
