Optimizing Limited Vertical Space When Hanging LED's?

Hi, I am setting up my first indoor grow with LED and I only have 55 Inches of height in my room/storage unit.

When I unpacked my LED light and connected the hanging apparatus today, as you can see in the image, it appeared to take up almost 2 feet of vertical space!

I would like my light height to be adjustable, while on the other hand I REALLY need to minimize vertical space between the ceiling and light at times (due to my severe room height constraint of only 55 inches).

So please, let me know any genius ideas to hang this baby with an adjustable setup that is much more optimized vertically?

Many thanks in advance!

I bought some chain and hooks. One on each side, each with its own ratchet hanger. Probably 6 to 8 inches overall between the hanger and the heatsink.
Got them both at home depot. The hooks are open so you just bend them closed around the chain and hook the other end through the hole in heatsink.

Carabiner clips on all 4 corners of the heatsink , chain on each, hooks to shorten or lengthen chain if needed.

You can have that heatsink a few inch from the top of your cab. Fasten chain to four points directly above not in the fashion you have shown .

4 point hanging would get it tightest, if you can get the tent bars on the top appropriately spaced in parallel such that you can get each pair of eyes on your fixture to go straight up to it's own spot on the bar, one bar for each end of the fixture. If your tent doesn't have a pair of movable light hanger bars you could perhaps fabricate some. If it's a solid top and not a tent you can screw in some eye hooks, one for each corner and s-hook directly to those.

We can't see the corners of the heatsink or where you are hanging it from so just guessing lol
