Optimal temps for curing and burping

Just wondering how long to let my jars burp? By this i mean emptying my curing jars twice a day and then resealing. I heard to do this every 12 hours. But for how long? 5 minutes? 20? 1 hour?

And how long do you do this for? 1 week 4 weeks?


Is it bad for the room to be above 80F ?

I have been told a million times but 4 years now i have always fucked up somewhere. This year I intend to get things perfect!

how long...at least 3-4 weeks to cure your buds. after that youll be good to just least them sealed. just mix up your greens ever so gently once a day or whenever you burp it. time maybe 3-5 minutes open. your pretty much just getting the air to flow all around your buds and decrease possibility of mold.

is there no cooler place you can put it. if you feel hot in the room your in then chances are your buds will too. low 70s is best.

Cool, that sounds good. I just got a new place so i don't have to worry as much about random people popping up. This will make it easier to cure properly.

I can keep it cool i just need to keep them out of my living room when there is a fire going. Shouldn't be hard.

What about the stems? Do I want to cure with a big stem atatched to my buds? Or should i trim them like they are ready to smoke?

if you have excess stem just trim it off. you dont have to but its just one less thing to do when you go to smoke
