Opinions: When should I introduce Dry KoolBloom to this Autoflower...

I am having a hard time judging time with this Autoflower strain I am growing (SuperSonic Cristal Storm) they always claim "60-65 days from seed" but I know that's marketing for the most part. I also assume that I have 'delays' because I am growing in DWC which means nothing really happens until the roots hit the reservoir. I am currently @ Day "40" since I first saw a root hit my reservoir but judging by where I am at this point I don't see this being done in "20-25" days... However, if that's going to hold true should I start introducing Dry KoolBloom very soon? I need to account for a week to flush I'd imagine.

First time growing an auto... Thoughts?

The plant is about 30" Tall too, takes up just about my entire 2x4 tent... I don't even zip it up, it's been hanging wide open for weeks as it's too bushy to fit in there.

Days flowering has nothing to do with when the roots hit the water, with autoflowering it starts when the plant germinates. From what I see in your pictures, your plant isn't asking for koolbloom.

I never meant that, words must have come out strange or something. I just know plants start off slow in DWC since the roots aren't taking anything in until they hit the res... It's like a 10 day period of nothing happening (at least it takes me that long to get roots coming out of my netpots) these things feel way behind a '40 day' mark on a 60 day strain, maybe I'm crazy lol.

I know it's for ripening toward the end but it seems like it's usage and the time-frame for flushing are going to overlap, I had ok results with it last time but I knew exactly what day I was on when growing normal photo period plants. I just want to allow enough time for a proper flush.

I am currently using Liquid KoolBloom though, have been for a while now.

If you're using koolbloom now, keep using the amount you're using, because it looks really happy now with what you're currently feeding it.. unless some of the lower bud leaves are clawing maybe? Dry koolbloom is basically the same as liquid koolbloom, maybe with slightly different NPK from pH buffering with KOH (potassium hydroxide)

From my understanding they're quite a bit different but I hear people with different opinions on that a lot too, some people think they are the same thing one is just in liquid and the other is in concentrate form, it's supposed to be done Liquid Koolbloom > Dry Koolbloom toward the end to "stress" the plant to some degree from what I read, I just don't want to go too late and compromise my flush. I 100% realize my plant is not ready yet for it but was wondering if I should expect 1-2 weeks or what.

The N-P-K values are a lot different and the products are intended to be used in sequence, not one or the other.

Judging by those NPK values, koolbloom liquid is KH2PO4 buffered with KOH while koolbloom dry is just pure KH2PO4 and a tiny bit of nitrogen (i'm gonna guess from potassium nitrate). It makes sense that they suggest using them in sequence now that I think about it. 1:1 PK ratio when it's still putting on leaves, and 1:0.62 PK ratio toward the end.

Either way, they're basically the same other than the KOH.
