Opinions on the grab bag seed deals from seed distributors

Just wondering on anyone's end results on the miscilaniouse, non-sexed seed deals from different sites. Like the ones that have a mix of 10 seeds. Are they worth it? Is it at least a better bet then bag seeds? I've been growing from bag seeds for years. And understand the concept of genetics. If it's good smoke, itl grow good smoke..

why not just shop on a site and choose what you want, plus take the freebies? I got more than enough to last me a year from Herbies, $140....
