I don't have a problem with the meals or anything I just have a problem with all potting soils because they're not economical. To me anyway. I can buy bales of peat moss and bags of perlite and compost from a landscape supply store in bulk and mix a large amount of soil for half the price.
I'm all about buying everything dry and mixing myself. Kelp4less.com is my vendor of choice. Just wait for the 2-for-1 Tuesday sale days and plan ahead. I had the chance to go through Idaho Falls, ID recently and met Dan from Kelp4less...picked up my spring supply of nutes directly at a great deal! My 100 gallon pots are now refreshed with lots of the good stuff and ready to go when I'm ready to transplant. If you have a compost tea question, these guys are a great source of info.

I've used kelp4less before and I like their products but I found that I could actually get my Kelp for less from a local Michigan company called Organically Done. They stock the local store shelves. The amount of amendments I go through would look damn suspicious getting delivered to my house every other week...even in discreet packaging. That's how you get noticed by your shady neighbors and get robbed. Our licenses protect us from cops but not our neighbors. :(

But that's why I avoid getting anything shipped to my house, I'd rather bring it in through my garage where no one sees.

I don't worry...I'm a licensed medical provider in Montana. And the Kelp4less packages are all USPS flat rate boxes, very discreet. I never buy from Kelp4less at regular price, I wait for the 2-for-1 Tuesday sales...just get on the mailing list. I wish a local grow store carried the organic amendments I need at a reasonable price, but many are not locally available.

Just another reason Michigan is the best!

I’ve been using Nature’s care outdoors and indoors. I’ve never had any problems. I’ve also grown in 100% coco, I’ve grown using dwc. Dwc was the best as far as growth rate, Nature Care vs coco haven’t noticed that big of a difference. I would give coco the win, however the taste, smell, and potency using the Nature’s care was almost neck & neck. It’s really not a bad soil, I do add a lot of perlite but I add that to everything! I’ve bought at least 30 bags of Nature’s care, and I have never caught any bugs or anything harmful from using it. I do want to switch to fox farm happy frog, or ocean forest.
