Right, ive never used a DWC before i currently use a big wilma 9...
Im looking to take advantage for the 150l res tank i already have from the Wilma and create a DWC and require your opinions as ive never used one before.
Firstly, i am a fan of the Wilma but feel like it could do with some upgrade so my plan...
I'm looking at drilling holes big enough into my wilma tray to put cages into top fill them with pebbles rather than have 20l pots. ill have 9 holes evenly spaced and then the cage would sit in the res tank?
the roots would almost instantly be in the res, and i would have air stones around the whole res tank. with the flooders feeding from the top
Do you think i would have a big advantage growing this way? the 20l pots are getting on my nerves now.
