This is my first grow for a full room I'm used to doing a perpetual 4 plants per week for 10 weeks but had some cloning problems at end of summer n couldn't afford to waste space in the cold and of course I forgot to date when I put into flower so I'm 100% I put them in before thanksgiving so I guessing about 7 weeks I run full line on cyco nutes so need like at least week of flush so I should go ahead and start the flush or do you all think they have 3 weeks to go still there are 4/5 different strains sky walker, silver grape, green crack, white widow and few I've had for past year n half which aren't labelled which I know one is bubblegum and 1 Death Star which usually is 12 week cycle but most of them are yellowing thanks in advance for the help image.jpg

do you have a jewerls loop?

Yea I have loupe still have little clear my main thing is hit them with nutes another week then flush for 2 or just start flush now for 2 weeks n call it done at that point

I've been flushing because that's the way I was tought I was told that it's very important so what your saying is that there's no need to flush that pretty much it's a myth that some people believe any others input

From the posts I've read here and elsewhere the majority opinion is you flush toilets not mj plants, unless of course you went overboard on your nutes, you can even dunk em in water/peroxide 85/15 mix AFTER harvest to wick out salts, dirt, dust ( cold water curing I think its called).

I grow in soil and feed teas so i pretty much wouldn't worry 'bout flushing and not too knowledgeable about nutes

Bubbastar, your plants look great. They are very close if not ready, per your taste in high.

This is the first I've heard of 'cold water curing' and it sounds to be among the worst of the many moron stoner ideas based on mis or non-information we see on forums all the time. To wet a plant ready for harvest is to strip it of its finest essence, the kief, the nearly pure thc powder that you cannot buy at any price. You must grow it yourself. Don't waste that.
And don't wet your plants at harvest also because it encourages mold.

Hey I was as sceptical about this very thing as most are, but after reading up on this by growers with way more experience than most agree this is the only way they cure buds.

Buds, calyx, trics are not water soluble, otherwise you would have tons of rotting buds on outdoor grows.

I'm not trying to convince anyone, but just do some research on this subject.

I will sacrifice 2-3 branches on my current grow just for research sake if it works great for others might be something to look into.

Hey man. I think people like to flush In hydro set ups. I havnt done true hydro, so I cant comment on that.

But in soil unless you have gone overboard with nutes there is no need to flush. All you are doing is starving them right when they really fattening up.

Another thing is run off. You don't need to water till you get 10% run off like I keep seeing people commenting (not on thus tread) just an example of more crap people spout.

A really good source of growing info is on the Mandela seeds site.
