The grow facility behind my work had some mail inadvertently forwarded to my office. It caught my eye because I saw Jacks on it, lol.

Notice it wasnt Advanced Nutrients, lol. Their nutrient bill would be $10,000 a month.

GFs step brother shared some of his bud with me. Smoked some with a buddy, he thought it was regs lol. He swears by that AN pH perfect though. And hey it may be good, but dude has his plants growing into his reflector with a 1000w light bulb.

Just get Jacks dude. Same thing but more Mg. Ive used them both and they are just as good. I like the extra Mg in Jacks. Means I need to use less Epsom. Means less S in my mix. A lot of S isnt a bad thing. Its not a nutrient that will lock out others in excess. But why more than your plant needs?

They upped their price on 4lb tubs to $34. Used to be $25. That makes their 25lbs at $55 seem like steal.

In a few years when I run out of Jacks ill try that one I linked above. 6% Mg

I didnt want to mess the good one up to save the bad one .

Like now i got 4 plants in a 4place rdwc
And 2 are happy enough 1s ok and the last shows a mag deficiency im done with spendy nutes period .

Jacks has a lot less micros in it and you get your sulfur and mag from epsom salt, which is cheaper. I found that Jack's had died to hide the dirt and same in it.

And chem-gro was closer anyway.

Who knows? Maybe the 4-20-39 formula works even better?

Or the strawberry formula would work.

@ttystikk yea they said sorry we no longer sell 5-11-26. No reason Given.

I askex if there is somthing else that is close will know by tomorrow.

5lbs box mag sulphate. MGSO4X5 - $7.95

5lbs box of the hobby formula. 10-8-22X5 - $20.95

5lbs box of 4-20-39 - 4-20-39X5 - $25.95

What do you think of running the hobby formula with a little less cal nit for the increased nitrogen. For veg .

And the 4-20-39 for the bloom?

Does my list need anything eles while im there?

Eh my plants haven't noticed the lack of micros. Local is tit though. The shipping costs almost as much as the nutes.

That's weird they dropped the hi k formula. Seems like they have a lot less selection from what I remember

Their shipping was great in the email said they would ship all that to AK for 20$ ill be ordering once i look at all their mixes and write them down lol .
Hopefully in the email tomorrow theyll be able to tell me what the 5-11-26 alternative would be.

Might as well use the 4-20-39. I'm sure it's just like the 5-11-26 with a bit of MKP and maybe potassium sulfate.

My guess is that having too many formulas weren't good on their costs. Too much inventory moving too slowly.

They're in Colorado and I know for certain they supply lot of commercial facilities. There is no way they don't have a cannabis specific formula and sell the shit out of it.

I don't think it's necessary to throw stuff away.

I use four items; the mix, calcium nitrate, epsom salt and MKP. The ratios of the materials might change between 4-20-39 and 5-11-26 but nothing else will.

@im4satori care to weigh in? You've done some work on the formulas, there is some interest here in using a different formulation, since the old mix has apparently been discontinued.
