Ok preparing online basket for when my funds come in soon
just finished building my 3ftx3ftx6ft beech effect contiboard corner wardrobe unit (Looks very stealth
will look even better when i get my hands on a second hand door mirror)
I will be using a 600W HPS/MH Lighting setup in this space so im worried about heat issues so ive put together a ventilation kit which im hoping youll give me your opinions on.
Ventilation Kit Contents:
Extractor Fan:
6" Rvk Extractor Fan - 150 mm A1 = 420 m3
The turbines extractors RVK are the best ones of their category. An constructed with the best existing materials of the market. To used for it, motors that work to very few revolutions obtaining the maximum of power, with the minimum noise and electrical consumption. Turbines RVK are the best bet by the quality, since they are practically indestructible, even though work 24 hours to the day without stopping. Turbines RVK with powers exist that go from the 175 m3/h to the 1800 m3/h.
Ducting & Accessories:
Metallic Ducting Duct Tape - 100mm x 45m
We usually use this for fixing ducting onto fans, but its also useful for sticking up mylar and other types of sheeting. The industrial strength adhesive is unaffected by heat or moisture so you can be sure itll stay put, plus its super reflective.
Also used for sealing ducting to fans and carbon filters and accessories
6" Aluminium Bare Ducting - 150mm x 5m
Our Aluminium Ducting features 2 plies of tough aluminium foil/polyester laminate, laminated with flame retardant adhesive and fully encapsulated in a steel wire helix. Will retain its round shape in all applications. Supplied boxed.
http://www.hg-hydroponics.co.uk/ekm...lexible-ducting-clips-quick-release-219-p.jpgFlexible Ducting Clips - Quick Release
Whenever you want to connect ducting either to an extractor fan, Carbon Filter or Silencer use one of our Quick Release Clips. These are the quick tighten worm screw variety and are ideal for strong and secure connections throughout your ducting/extraction system.
Carbon Scubber/Filter:
6" Mountain Air Carbon Filter 150/500 580m3
Circulating Rotating Fan:
millen-i-Air Air Circulator Rotating fan (9")
The Ventilation System comes for about £200 and thats everything in the list with postage and VAT, the thing i like about the carbon scrubber is that it states it can be undone witht he right tools and refilled with fresh carbon which will save money in the long run.
What you think is it to much for a 3ftx3ftx6ft grow area?
thx
regards

Carbon Scubber/Filter:
6" Mountain Air Carbon Filter 150/500 580m3
It's The Carbon
that makes MountainAir Filters the Shining Star of indoor air cleaning technology. MountainAir4® is a rare carbon derived from sub-bituminous black coal deposited in a Pre-Cambrian formation some 280 Million years ago. It is from the oldest coal on earth, has an extrememly low ash content, and has a very unique chemistry and mesopore structure not found in other carbons and charcoals.
MountainAir Filters remove 99% of everything under 20 microns from the air in one pass. This includes All organic odors ( Bat Guano,Fertilizers and cigarrette smoke etc.) Someof the uses of these Superior Air Cleaners are: Food Processing, Indoor Growing, Restaurants, Mortuaries, or anywhere odors and air quality are an issue.
So what's so good about the MountainAir Activated Carbon Filter ?
To start with, the resistance to airflow is less than 10% through the filter. Some other carbon filters available have much greater resistance to airflow, which leads to increased noise and increased work for the fans. Secondly, over 99% of particles >5 microns are removed. We have yet to see another filter able to make these two claims. Thirdly, refilling can be done anywhere and requires only an inexpensive rivet tool ($10-$20 at most hardware stores).

*Indicative CFM: These air flows are indicative of a 37 month filter testing program, at the end of which time the tested filters were still 100% effective. We have also found the Indicative CFM to be the most economical area in which to run the filters (i.e. less electrical usage, fan wear, air noise, etc.).
** Maximum CFM: The filters can handle considerably more air than this rating, however, there are trade off's when running any air handling system at high air pressures. There is a point where it is more economical to go up to the next size filter and this is what the Maximum CFM represents. I.E. you could run a 400 CFM fan on a 6" x 20" filter, however it would be more economical to run a 400 CFM fan on a 8" x 20" filter. Although a larger filter may cost a little more, the savings in electrical usage, air noise, fan wear, etc. is a great trade off. Over the life of the system the additional cost will pay for itself many times over.

Circulating Rotating Fan:
millen-i-Air Air Circulator Rotating fan (9")
A chrome finish air circulator with a steel blade, variable speed motor and a 360 Degree tilt adjustment.
Designed to rest on the floor and circulate air around a large area, ideal for an indoor garden to help avoid air stagnation and ensure even room temperature.
It has 3 speed settings and a cut-out protection to prevent the motor from overheating.

The Bionaire fan features a high performance variable speed motor with a 360 degree tilt adjustment. Used to generate air movement in a grow room to even out temperature and assist transpiration.
