Only way to tell is when it starts to flower. If it starts flowering in the next 3-4 weeks, it's an auto. Autos don't look any different than photo period plants so you'll just have to wait and see, unless you can remember what you have been smoking out front :bigjoint:

New growth is giving me photoperiod vibes. Young autos tend to have a smaller blade count on the fans. (3-5 blades) new growth looks like it might be a higher count. Although… I have seen some 7-9 bladed leaves on a couple of breeders autos like night owl & 420 fast buds.

Depending on where your located, the days have started to get shorter already, so it would start flowering in the next two or 3 weeks anyway regardless of auto or photo. So if you’re in the US, might as well let it do it’s thing.

From the many autos I’ve run the low blade count leaves isn’t true. How young are you talking though?

I’ve noticed more 3 blade leaves closer to or in flower though from autos.

It’s not typical of every auto, but I’ve ran a few. I‘m talking only a couple weeks from sprout. As they mature, and healthy.. I’ve seen up to 11. At a couple weeks only we’re still spitting 3-5 blades.. well I was.

edit: the plants were :eyesmoke: I blame the hashish.

Days start getting shorter everywhere in the Northern Hemisphere after June 21st the summer solstice.

At around 42°N last year my outdoor plants didn’t start flowering until the end of August. It’s going to be much more than another 2-3 weeks before it flowers if it’s a photoperiod.

If you’re in the US it’s probably going to be close to 6 weeks before it should start flowering.
