Ontario Seed Bank Review

Well I tried Ontario Seed Bank in Toronto for the first time last year, Me and a few buddies split on a bunch of various strains, all from Ontario's Best and all but one were good, All plants were started indoors and moved out into cornfields ect.

White Widow, Hash Plant, Skunk, Mendocino Madness, and XXX 420, the only one that was not up to par was the XXX 420 something weird about that strain, growing deformed leaves, low yields, straggly and chitty smoke,

The best yields came from the Hash Plant we got anywhere from 1/4 lb to 1/2lb off fully mature plants(about 8' tall), and it was Darn good

The next best results came from the Skunk, decent yields (1/4lb average)and great smoke

Wasn't 100% satisfied with there White Widow though, the Buds were quite fluffy and the weed was not the greatest,

Mendocino Madness was not all that the guy made it out to be either hey was talking like it was going to be an early plant but it was ready same time as the rest of them, it smelt kind of like pee (but in a good weed way) and didn't yield very much 1oz per plant

The XXX 420 was just Brutal,

I would recommend going there (they don't have a website) if you are in the area, the guy in there was quite generous with the seeds, and very flexible on the prices, he also gave us a joint as soon as we walked in the door Great customer service

Cool review. Its very useful for people in the midwest that are thinkin' about a car ride to Canada for the weekend.

Did the plants get corn nutrients?

I was there yesterday and he is generous with the seeds indeed. I bought 10 seeds but got 14. He doesn't have a website because "you never know who's looking"

does anyone know the various strains they carry? im thinking about heading there to pick some up...

dude you guys are fuckin nuts! this guy is so over priced it's insane!! Hell I would be generous too if i was charging 200 plus for 10 fuckin beans! I drove from the US to check out some banks in Ontario/Toronto and went to Ontario seed bank/happy girl/and the jungle in niaggra and all I can say is what a fucking joke!!! AND there was definatly no frre joints either!!

I went up there a month ago and got 75 seeds and a dubey for $250

Holly shit that guy must have hated me for sure! The best he could do was $200 for 10 greenhouse seeds widow WTF right? The local stains were 60.00 for ten I didn't talk much maybes it was the American in another country thing sucks tho cause I came back to the states and ordered from the tude and the dr. Spent more than 200 also but got more than ten beans for it. LOL

This guy is a crook he sells his brand of the good companys seeds and i KNOW he dont know shit about breeding lleave that to the pros I bought 3 different strains from him White Widow, ak-47 x cashola, and Northern lights out of all those i got one half ass white widow bitch ak-47 dud northern lights I have grown many times and this shit looked like some GARBAGE hemp not even the good hemp lol and when I phoned and asked what he could do for me he said you know how many people run fuckin scams on me well I'm not one of them and i've been doin this for 15 yrs now I dont know it all but I've been told my stuff is the best numerous times not to toot my own horn I have also herd that he fucks with other brands and puts his hemp seeds into reputable companys seed packages so I would go elsewhere I'm tryin 420 seed bank today will post results.

I spent $200 at Ontario Seed Bank before I knew any better on NL, WW and 420xxx and all were garbage. Did not get one keeper and wasted 4 months growin 'em out. I'm likin my Master Kush from Guru seeds right now.

However, I spent 4 months growing them out and they yield was low, bub was fluffy, thc content was non existent. Did I mention I spent over $240 for these seeds. Can't speak for their other strains but I know they ripped me off. Use at your own risk.

I agree with the above post and link. I bought Serious Seeds Chronic from Ontario Seed Bank for my first grow. They "supposedly" came in a breeder pack. you guys make it sound like there the only person, VSB sells TGA gear in vails. on the vail it says: "Jack The Ripper - TGA Sub Cool Seeds - VSB".i still have the vail if anyone wanna see it. btw i grew it out and it was shit.

I don't mind paying a bit more for quality but what I got from Ontario Seedbank was JUNK

So i did some research on this topic because i been a customer of osb for a long time. sometimes i would run into a bad batch of seeds. went back and got it replaced.

From my understanding is that OSB use to carry serious seeds, then later stopped for some reason (didn't ask why).
From what i know is that OSB use to carry serious AK47. When serious seeds breed spot got raided they lost there ak47 (orginal batch).
OSB kept some of there AK47 seeds.

As for the serious seed ad on there hightimes they said they told there graphic designer to remove that long time ago and he never does. They said they recently hired a new guy and they will be taking it off of there ads.

I checked there website today and it seems like they did get someone new, they have a new website look.

maybe you guys should give them a call? they might just replace it? lol

i've seen the results of a few OSB seed purchases and now that i read this suddenly everything seems so OBVIOUS. fml.
I've been in there a few times and have never have a "warm feeling". nothing like the garden stores, THC, or hydroshops in the area.
everytime i go in to buy 1 thing its out of stock or he just REALLY persists on me buying something else. once being SS chronic. once being a greenhouse wheel that 3 of 5 plants finished small as fuck.
so, now that we've established that OSB makes us feel like shit .... where is your alternative?
