one plant is way too tall - need suggestions

Hi everyone. I have 5 plants that are 3 weeks into flowering and one plant is just growing way too tall. The problem is I have to keep raising the reflector so my other 4 plants are getting less and less light. The ridiculously tall plant is one of those free thai super skunk seeds I got with my attitude order. I tried to lst the plants when they were in veg but this one went on to become a monster anyway. What can I do with this plant? I hate to deprive the other 4 plants of light just to accommodate this one monster plant. Thanks for advice you guys can offer!

Supercropping is always an option. I had to do that for one plant that was bigger than the other three I had. Some say it puts stress on your plants, and you shouldn't do it in flowering. Others disagree. I know if you mess up and snap a branch, that is stress. If you can pinch and bend without snapping, it should be alright.

Its prob a male if the seeds are not fems , you could cut a good chunk off the top , tie it down . But whatever you do its going to be temporary, until you bud it thin it will slow a bit .

whoa. I'm having /EXACTLY/ the same problem right now. As in I could have written every word of your post and it would have been true. The skunk is such a beautiful plant, it'd be a shame to alter it, but it's just so leggy! My other plants are northern lights and purple kush, much more compact.

I have enough vertical room to accommodate the tall one, so I've just been putting thick stacks of big books under the other plant pots to even out the canopy, and also moved the skunk over to the side a bit. It's kinda annoying having a bunch of books in there, but it's working to even it out and get good light distribuition. If you could use something better than books it would be even easier.

The final thing I've tried with this one is weighting it down. I have these real heavy metal hanging hooks with fat screws as ends, so I tried just hangin one over a heavy duty leaf in the middle/top of the plant, main stem, and it just leans over a bit without having to dramatically tie it down. Hope these ideas can be of some use to you.
