One plant is way bigger...advice needed!

Hi, all. I have 5 skunk plants, which have been growing for about a month now. One plant is much taller than the others and is almost near the HPS light. I started the 12/12 flowering cycle 8 days ago, yet no signs of sex yet.

My question is, should I cut the top of the real tall plant off? The HPS light can only go a couple of inches higher. If I knew the sex, it would be easier to know what to do.

Anyway, any info would be appreciated.

sorry to disapoint you but its most likely male. males seem to grow a lot quicker and look healthier. but you never can be certain. yeah, top it, you should get a better yeild if it is female. :)

You didn't disappoint me. In fact, I'm actually hoping it's a male, so I can take it out and have the other 4 (hopefully females) do their thing. Thanks!

i had 11 plants in my last grow, 4 of them shot off like rockets when introduced to the 12/12 and ended up about 12" taller than the rest and i did a little lst and tied them down a little so they would maintain the same height

i disagree with the better looking plants are males, all the best looking plants ive ever had were females and the males and herms have always been a little stunted or slowing grow

ive only ever had about 5 males so not a ton of experience... but thats what i have seen
