I Have a friend who i set up with my old perpetual set up.

I started 10 fem beans, lemon kush and kept the best four for him to veg out ready to fill the second half of the flower tent.
All plants have been kept healthy but one of the four is in full flower!

Has anybody ever experienced a fem seed flowering under 20 hours of light?

Its under a 400w mh. The timer is all spot on, no dark periods when there shouldn't be. The other three are all vegging nice.
All ten seeds came sealed in the original breeders packaging. I opened them and popped them all and kept them until second set of leaves came through. I don't personally have any other seeds that could of been mixed up with, I have never even touched an auto.
The only thing I can think is the breeder has mixed up an auto in there somehow.

Never seen this in my time growing.
Has anybody else had this happen or would you say its a seed mix up pre packaging?

Yeah the first thing I thought when I saw the title was that an auto somehow got mixed in with the photos, only thing I can think of that fits the situation. Maybe mixed up when they shipped? Does it have similar characteristics to the others, other than it started flowering?

Cheers for your response GroErr.
It does have similar characteristics, they all look similar but all have a nice lemon smell when you give them rub. Obviously the flowering one smells stronger but the same fruitiness.

They were in the budget section price wise. Maybe that's why they were cheap.

I was going to tell him to put her in with his other flowering plants but if its an auto it would be best left under longer lighting even though its under MH not HPS.

Again, thanks for your response, I have grown hundreds of harvests but mainly work with clones, I know you have a lot of experience working from seed. :bigjoint:

Cheers, they sound like the same, it's possible to get some mixed photo and auto's in a cross but rare, maybe just a mutant. If it's already flowering at 20/4 I'd try and keep it in that cycle for better yield for sure.

I just looked up the strain and found the description from the seed bank I buy from differs slightly to the breeders site.

Herbies left out this line on its site that I found on the breeders.

Easy to grow for beginners, it was inbred over several generation ago with some automatic genetics to shorten the flowering time and make it possible to grow the strain in oceanic climate zones

That explains a lot.

So he got the auto pheno :( Hell of a way to shorten the flowering time with "regs", using autos.
