One or two?

These four plants are in flowering and they've been living under one 400w LED fixture. I happen to have a second 400w fixture and was thinking if the plants were spread under two fixtures instead of one the plants may offer twice the yield.

So now the four are under the two.

You do you think?

With a second light, you can keep the plants further apart. And plants further apart means you can do some LST method - manifold comes to mind - to spread them wide and get bud up the wazoo!

Thx. I can spread these fixtures further apart, right now the distance is 12" edge to edge. The light bars are adjustable so for four plants I've got a lot of room.

What do I need to get the result you're talking about.

I try and bush out as much as i can and keep everything even by just tying down using big containers.. it keeps everything nice and even even when running different strains

I have one of the square, thin LCD thermometers similar to the graphic below.

Over the last 24 hours in the tent....

the high temp was 80.6°F and low temp was 69.6°F.

The high humidity was 61% and low humidity was 39%.

How are the high/low heat/humidity numbers in the tent?

I did turn the heater down slightly yesterday... but noticed this morning the extension plug I have the heater plugged into was loose. So I think the heater may have been off over night.

Over the last 24 hours in the tent....

the high temp was 77.7°F and low temp was 64.4°F.

The high humidity was 61% and low humidity was 35%.

The highest heat/humidity occurs during lights on from what I can tell. And humidity seems to be highest after watering.

How are the high/low heat/humidity numbers in the tent?

The lights have been off for a while and I checked temp, 66.4°F. I turned up the heater a bit. I'll monitor the temp/reset the thermostat for hi/lo.

Last night I adjusted the heater and now....

the high temp was 79.7°F and low temp was 69.8°F. I think this is good and will try to keep it this way. Will reset thermometer for the next 24 hour readings.

The high humidity was 49% and low humidity was 39%. I think this is the best I can get in this tent/basement.

I think humidity changed because I turned up the heater but opened another tent flap.

It appears the current configuration of a tent in the middle of a basement will have a 10° temperature swing. Is this OK?

Most of my runs have a temp swing about the same. More of a swing for me in the colder months.

I’ve never worried about trying to warm up the night time temps.

What works for me may not work for you. And I probably could have had better end product if the temps were more in control. But I’m not stressing about it, I’m happy with my stuff.
