image.jpgimage.jpgSorry if im wasting your time lads, im a newbie and currently got 2 vision seeds big bud plants a week old since the roots sprouted through the rockwool. Had them under a 600w hps for the first 3 days but due to lack of size of my grow box had to switch to a 250w cfl to keep the temps down. Light schedule is 18 on 6 off. One of them looks fine but other one not looking promising. I hope you guys can help. Thanks.

Bro one is dead and the other one has a couple of days left. The light and heat were too much for new sprouts and you need to feed veg nutes in hydro from the start. Feed the live one veg nutes asap.

They were in rock wool from seed and last week transplanted them in soil as there was good amount of root coming through the rock wool and they have been in the same pots since. 10 inch diamter pots. They have never been in hydro.

Hun- leave them be...

Need info... what soil? What temps?

NEVER feed seedlings until they get their 3rd set of leaves...

They do not look dead to me- just stressed... maybe to wet or the pH is off.... HPS is ok if not too close and you watch the temps...

need more info on what their conditions are and what you use...then can give more help...k? ;)

Sorry if i come across as rude and impatient just worried am doing it wrong. My grow cabinet is roughly 4ft high x 3 ft wide x 1ft deep. Got a 4inch diameter extractor fan, 2 passive intake vents. Got a small inline fan tht i was planning on setting up when the plant get a bit bigger. I was using a 600w hps for the first 3 days but struggled to get temps below 35degrees celsius. So i switched to 250w cfl with the intent to add a 300w cfl once they grow a bit bigger. Temp with cfl dont go above 23 degrees Celsius with lights on and dont drop under 19 degrees celsius when lights off. Light schedule is 18 on 6 off. Soil is coco soil and i mixed in pebbles for drainage. Pots are 10 inch in diameter. Just been watering with 500ml water per plant when soil is dry 2 inches below surface. Any other info that i have missed? Complete newbie so all advice is greatly appreciated.

When i was running hps i had that about 3 ft above the plants and it was causing my extractor fan to get mega hot as it was so close to it. Currently got the 250w cfl 2-3 inches above the plant at the moment and temp is max 23 when lights are on.

K theres no nutes in that dirt so you dont need much but you should add a smidge after the cody leaves are used up. 600 w will fek those plants, 250 watt real power cfl close will fek them too. 250 equivelent could fek them if its too close. You might be over watering too. I use a syringe for plants that size to water. Its not even an inch tall how much can it drink right. 50-200mls should be good if you can keep a close eye on her. Dont drown her, that stunts them real bad. Ones done, the other one could be saved but light could be killing them and theres just lots of problems. I would have done organic soil, low light to start and when they were 12 inches tall switch to hps and veg longer then flip. They dont look good, read more bud, good luck :):):)
