Situation.
2 plants in DWC both with great roots.
Both have 3 nodes of fan leaves and they are apx 4-5" tall.

Using General Hydroponics and B-1 and distilled water at mid 5's for ph.

One is doing great, the other is stunted and turning yellow at the bottom.

Res temp is mid about 70f
Lights are 2 6500k 23w cfls (close) and 1 400w hps (30" away)
4" canfan for circulation in a 2'x4'x8' closet

I was thinking Nitrogen but it's only in one plant and they both come from the same seed pack.

Supposed to be the same strain. Hindu Kush.
Why would one lock-out and the other one not lockout using the same res for both?

I just flushed both with 1/2 strength veg nutes and cleaned the res and changed the water to all 1/2 strength veg mix. 3-2-1 Grow-Micro-Bloom General Hydroponics. with 1ml/l of b-1 Thrive and 1ml/l peroxide.

Will post results in a few days.

Guessing ph is 5.5 based on using the (between orange and yellow) droplet method.

what you did is about the best thing you can do with any type of plant stress "flush flush flush" should be the first thing you do @ the first sign of stress. and then be patient for a few days befor giving it full strength nutes again. it doesnt look bad tho, the plant on the left your refering to right? i had 20 all feminised seeds all grown exactly the same. and from the begining 3 of them just didnt grow right, about 30% shorter? it just happends. your on the right track tho. also you know with that 400w you can move it much closer without harming the plant. i would lower it a few inches per day to about 1' or closer
