Once turned TWICE! wtf???

1st time harvesting. Plant has been flowering for almost 10 weeeks!
I intended to give her 48 hrs of darkness Saturday-Monday but when I turned the lights on this morning there was a new set of white hairs growing everywhere!!!! Prior to this sudden burst if white hairs the majority of them were orange/amber.
Is this a good thing?
Will this mean I have to continue to flower for another couple Weeks?

cant tell you that without seeing them you need to look at the trichs not the hairs

why 48 hours of dark ?

Yea I got a pic.. I'll upload shortly! And I READ that 48 hrs of dark b4 harvesting increases the thc content of the plant b4 the chop. I've never tried it because I never harvested b4 but I intent to take a sample cutting prior to the 48 hrs of dark and hang dry and cure for the same amount of time as the ones in the dark to prove this theory myself.
I dont have a very powerful microscope and this is my.first harvest. I thought the girl was almost done until this abundance of new white hairs came

First have they been flowering for 10 weeks or did you change the lights to 12/12 10 weeks ago? That is a very important question.

Secondly what type of plant is it? Some strains will finish faster then others.

Pics would deffinitely help. That being said I've had plants pop fresh new hairs right before I've harvested before, as long as the rest of the plant is ready to harvest. Though its still not 100% trichomes are a better gauge to follow for harvesting then the hairs. You want to see a I high percentage of cloudy trichomes to tell when you're close to harvest. FDD2BLK has a great thread on "when to harvest" on here somewhere I'm pretty sure its stickied so you can find it.

Pics are great how about the info I asked for. I'm not tryin to be a dick, but it would help. Those still look young to me, but like they've had a hard life.

Info?? Im the one that was seeking out info!!!
I chopped her yesterday tho. Would've made 10 Weeks Monday. Needed to make room for my BM'S that still have about 4 Weeks left.

Just as an FYI: My first grow, which flowered for 9 weeks, had new pistols forming right up till the day I chopped her.

Plants look stressed. What are your temps at during the day and night?

And Thundercat is asking a legit question, the buds look small for 10 weeks of flower. Also, what kind of lighting are you using?
