ONA vs. carbon filters

which would be more effective at eliminating the odor in a closet?

a duct leading to a carbon filter

or a fan placed down into some ONA pro.
the fan is next to the grow box, but not connected in anyway.

A carbon filter is the only effective odor eliminator. I have tried everything.

have you tried the bucket with water/ona pro method?

you place a fan on top of the bucket facing down,
the air blows into the bucket of water/ona pro. and there are drilled holes for the air to escape the bucket.
the holes are above the water line obviously

Ona worked somewhat for me, it seemed to work at first but wore off way to quick! I could have put the extra money towards a carbon filter, I won't waste my time again! Carbon filter FTW!

The only way to stop the exhausted air from stinking is filtering it before it exits the grow room. Other than that, ONA is just helping. There's no way ONA can destroy the smell like filtering it can.

^^ what these guys said... after experimenting with many options (and wasting tons of $) I got a carbon filter...much better effect!

alright, looks like carbon it is.

how much CFM do u guys usually run for your exhaust -> duct fan?

they should both be on your team neether one can take down a funky fullback of a dank funky grow theey are both on my defensive team i have a fan and scrubber inside tent i pull air through lights and that scrubber into a fan and scrubber outside tent that with a scent release electronic device by vapor tech their top of the line and when i grow the dankest genetics like some Elite Genetics- my last grow, and rez chemdog d x sour diesel, my current grow.

things get pretty funky and no one product is goingto handle it alone unless you be grwin some weak assed shit maybe

I'm currently using ONA and it works great for me. I have a one quart jar of the gel/crystals and I have a one quart liquid to reconstitute it every couple of weeks. I crack the jar and the entire house smells fresh. You can no longer smell plant when you enter my house. It has been nose tested 3 times and all agree, no more plant smell.

I think if you are growing a skunk variety, or AK-47 or something along those lines, you will need a carbon scrubber. The ONA works fine with my grow, the strain is Bubblelicious.

did u just open the jar?
or did u do the bucket method with a fan placed down towards it?
