Ona is it any good?

OK so i saw a thread re: carbon scrubbers vs Ona gel and im just wondering about peoples experiences with Ona as i was considering getting some. My grow isnt at the stinky stage yet but im sure it will get there, basically im only growing a few plants in a cupboard so the grow space isnt very big and im wondering if a tub of ona gel will eliminate the odors effectively?

i also see they have new one which is odorless - whats peoples experiences...

Im just wondering as a newbie whether to get this or not or is it a waste of time and would i be better off with a carbon scrubber and if so does anyone know where i can get one in the uk and pay cash lol
 
lol i would like to know also. but to start my 1st grow soon and need a odor control hope this ONA work would rather spent 20-30 buck on it then buying a carbon filter
 
ona isn't bad. It's a great addition..Not 100% sure if it's all you need or not. I guess for a really small grow it would work very well.
 
im not gonna use a carbon filter as its only a small grow (5 plants max) in a very enclosed space... anyone used the ona so far and whats the verdict?
 
Im not saying its a bad idea mate, i want to hook up some pc fans to my "grow" cupboard too so once i get that done i may indeed attach some sort of carbon filter to the outlet fan. Im a total newbie so any info i can find on here is great and i thank you for it.
 
ya man no problem. I don't think the ona will kill the smell of 5 plants man. My first grow was 2 autoflower ak47's. Now they didn't start stinking till the last three weeks but man let me tell you. I burned so much inscents those three weeks it was crazy. You could smell it throughout the house. Even on the other side of the house. For my second time around I picked up a carbon filter. Those things work so good. I couldn't even smell anything inside of my grow room with the door shut. But uhhh hope you get some luck on your side. First grows can be tricky sometimes.
 
Oh dear smell all around the house etc... see this is why im worried lol - im only 4 weeks in to veg so nothing smells yet. Ive got some time on my hands... so you think they only start smelling in the last 3 weeks of flowering then?
