Anyone ever tried ona gel? I just picked up a bucket and wondering the proper way to use it and how well it works, i have 2 autos in a small tent in my closet with an intake and exhaust no scrubber

i have the smaller jars of it. it works, i like it. it defiantly eats up the smell makes it smell like a warehouse or something

don't put it in with your plants, it will suck the smell out of them. keep it outside the grow area. you can put a cup of it in a bucket with a fan blowing into the bucket if you don't want to buy the breeze fan.

This is from there website, ONA, or Odor Neutralizing agent. it ABSORBS and destroys odors at there source. Just saying!!

It uses three processes: absorption, adsorption and the "Pairs" Theory to virtually cancel out most organic and non-organic odors.

Hydroponic Applications - For Peace of Mind.

ONA has built its reputation as being an effective odor neutralizer for the hydroponics and gardening industry. Indoor gardening can result in strong and undesirable odors that can create problems for the growers. In order to have a zero odor impact, it is imperative to use a product that attacks and completely eliminates these odors.

ONA's formulation is designed to attack any type of odor, regardless of type or source. Because it is a wide spectrum formulation, it will neutralize virtually every non-organic and organic odor, and leave only a clean, fresh scent.

yes i have but it shouldnt be your only plan it works outside your perimiter but fillters and dehumidfires at the location of triming.. when you open the girls up they stink bad and the smell travels but yes it works some what...

Yea i always leave my door open some so i figured id put it in the gap between my door and the closet, i appreciate the input.

I like it stuff works. But at the last two weeks on my last grow the stank still got through the ona. I only have the small gel though.

it mostly smells like pine oil to me like some kind of toilet disinfectant
didnt find it any more helpful than neutradol although it works out cheaper than neutradol because you cant buy that in very large amounts
after week 4-5 of flower the odor from the plants is just too strong

peace

I don't know about it. I lived in a 2 BD apartment and the gel just seemed like a Band-Aid. It covers it but at the same time weed stinks and I could always pick it out under the gel. I found that boiling pine-sol or fabuloso with some water worked just as well at covering it up. So I guess I would say yeah it works. The best advice I got for odor that I wish I would have took was that for the price your paying trying to figure out how to hide it you could have bought a fan and filter and been done with it.

Well the ona gel i got was free from a buddy and the reason im not trying ti get a filter n fan is cuz i really dont have the room for it

Ona won't cover the smell later in flower imo. I use an ona bucket, ozone generator and a filter. Late in flower I can still smell them walking up the steps to my house sometimes. Growing in a 5x5... Find a way to make room for a filter if you want smell suppression, there is no substitute imo. Maybe try hanging it from bungees at the top of the tent?

Ona gel smells like urinal cakes
