Ona anti stink A/C exhaust ... is this the correct method?

ok. Got a box in the garage. Fresh air enters through a passive filter for bugs, pollen, etc. Portable AC inside box that vents hot air through box wall, enters a storage bin with synthetic water crystals & Ona, then is exhausted to outside via dryer vent.

Is this the correct method, it almost seems too easy ...?

Ok I’m open to ideas... How do I connect a carbon filter to an AC unit exhaust ?
Duct the ac in an use an actual exhaust fan/ carbon filter combo. I mean how big is your space that your cooling anyway? What are the temps while the lights are running without ac?

I’m using the ac inside the box to also dehumidify. I have a carbon filter running in the garage. My box is 4x4.5x9’. Temps hit 100 with no ac. 900w QB lights dimmed to 60%

Thx for any help and replies

Are you venting the exhaust out of the garage? What’s the average temp in the garage itself?

I've been thru the Ona before, and also have used various carbon filters......I think both are fine for small areas. My grow room area is around 8X12 and I moved on to a Big Blue ionizer- which seems to be the most effective. Ona evaporated quickly and it would have become quite expensive over time. Carbon filters don't work well with humid air and i was never overly impressed with any of them. I have the Big Blue (3 bulb) hooked to an 8 inch exhaust and it works quite well with anything being exhausted and in any conditions.

Garage is in the process of getting the upper attic area sheet rocked off into a “typical” ceiling. Will have pull down ladder access but otherwise the top “attic” will be separated from the garage. In addition to this the remaining walls including the big car door will all get the pink stuff. Unfortunately the wall is southern facing and gets lots of sun. Been growing corn to give some shade. I believe doing this will drastically affect temps inside.

The hot exhaust from the ac is directed outside, & runs through the Ona box along the way.

I’d prob wanna stay away from ozone, I’m not a big fan of free roaming radicals...

Again, all thoughts, opinion, and comments are greatly appreciated by me & my girlz

Where does the fan with the carbon filter get vented to then?
