i am tired of messing up what am i doing wrong?
am i over cooking or under cooking them, i have no clue.

dude they're fine.. did you even try knocking em up? just make sure they're saturated in water prior to sterilization.. i mean rinses, soaks and hot soaks.. water is key to yield thats why dunking is the shit

it doesn't matter what color it is! calm down! your monitor color may be off, anyways. the only reason you want to cook it is to sterilize it so your spores don't get contaminated. just try it again and DON'T throw it away just because it doesn't look like what you saw on a video. you might be using a different kind of seed, or seed that was processed by a different company in a different way. i just put brown rice in a blender until it's as fine as sand, then mix it with moist perlite and put it in a jar. that always works for me, my spores grow well with this method, i just can't keep the mold out. i have only tried the peroxide method, though. i don't have a pressure cooker. i have also heard you can just boil them in a pot with a lid on it, though.
