And this is exactly why I can't debate it with you. God could be right in front of you, and you would find reason to deny Him, for whatever reason. The whole point is for you to come willingly. What good would it do either of us to debate any of it further? Might as well just dust off the 360 and kick your ass madden style, that would be more productive.

We can still be friends though, until orders change.
Have you actually seen and spoken to Him? What did he say to you?

No ,see, Bucky, he's a fucking dumb ass. Notice "Bucky" is capital, "he" is lower case. Grammar Nazi fail. "Him" is his name, "he" is a pronoun replacement. Derp.

To stop wasting my time engaging in arguments on the internet with those who don't believe anything I have to say, lol.
That's a simple question. I became vegan because my spirit guide came to me, and told me not to eat his kind.

Why do you, "lol," at such a question? I'd be fucking pissed if I were "Him."

I assumed you were only here to bash me for whatever reason so I didn't engage. And you are right, it isn't lol.

I can't claim to have seen or heard Him with worldy senses to my knowledge, but I'd be lying if I haven't had spiritual connections in my life. I can't explain them, words really don't fit what happened or what I felt. It was like he was right there, all around me, moving through me, and in it all, a conversation took place without words. Not like one of those things where I had questions and I just did what I thought He would have me do, it was more than that. He moved me. Tears me up just thinking about it, how amazing it was.

Spandy,

That's what I thought. Even though I'm an atheist, there's a connection, which binds us to ourselves. Those feelings you feel, how are you so sure they are this "Jesus", "God" or "Him" if you will?

For thousands of years this has been going on. If while meditating you become one with whatever this is, you might experience a sensation of colors and another presence. Those colors are the basis of where the idea behind Christmas lights come from. You can look up these lights for yourself. Mine were magenta like.

Have you tried meditation? Once you start seeing colors during it, you can try it while high. That's when things get really interesting.
My question, why limit yourself to what others have thought for you? This isn't anything new. The Jews "borrowed" these "holy teachings" about "God" from Babylonian, Sumerian and Egyptian thought.

If you compare the Sumerian creation story, which is much older than Genesis, you can see the similarities. The god Enki eats 8 plants, which disease 8 of his organs. The goddess Ninti heals Enki's rib organ and creates a human woman.

If you research more, you'll see this happens all around the world. Why are they all so similar? Maybe because our brains are all similar. Just maybe there's more to all this than what's in the Bible?

I should of just gone with my original joke about William Wallace, lol.

Or was he not real, too?
There are historical accounts not only of William Wallace, but the deeds and events his life has been associated with. They indeed corroborate what has been attributed in modern times to the man and so I would answer yes, he was real.

So did Christ, whether you accept Him as your savior or not.
If this person actually existed or not, these old stories existed before that. But, no real reason to think these stories are about a real person. So no idea that he was anything. Just a story about his dad....Stories and belief. Signs and Miracles. 2000 years of preaching and relics have not made it real.

Henry Wallace is a figure in history, Jesus of Naz is not. Christos is a Greek term for the Inner Highest Self.

...do you think that avatars come in the form of the teaching they represent / correct? (sorry, nifty side-track :) ) Then the stories happen?

We find oral tradition that were memorized, and passed on word for word track the Great Flooding for example. Most likely a comet strike in the Indian Ocean. And there is the Pizo family, powerful in the Roman Senate that were a kind of godfather to King Herrod to protect the Jews.

They needed a scape goat but, John the Bab, was already dead. It is the evidence of tampering that we see today. A big example is two works there were the foundation of His-Jesus. The writing of Josephus and the Acts of Pilate. These mentioned Jesus almost directly. But, much earlier copies were found that had no mention. So, we think 2000 years. But, just think about the first 100 years. That is a long time, 2 average lives. No one wrote anything for at least 40 years. Christ seems to be a "don't blame Herrod" political maneuver that took root in troubled times.

We know nothing of those first 100 years, since Pilate's judgment of execution took place. Yet, the Romans recorded everything. And even the earliest found Acts of Pilate say nothing as Josephus said nothing. Later, tiny phrases were added to bolster the mystery.

It's OK, no historic Buddha or Krishna, or Lau Tsu, either. I don't think Writing invented Lying, but it sure enables it. A little edit, here and there, drop out a bunch of even wilder stories, and voila, La Bible.
