Maybe it was the fire fighters!

Liberals call everyone greedy except other liberals. Ed Asner, the narrator, is one of the boogey man 1%ers too! The funniest part was how he accuses the "rich" of saying that poor people are greedy. Ironic part is, the poor are some of the "greediest" people out there who will sell out their own mother; and buy lotto and beer instead of feeding their own kids. The poor will buy for their selfish selves first, then bitch "you stole 'my' money!" Oh the irony!

I worked as a cashier at a fuel station for a couple years while attending college. You wouldn;t believe how many times I had to explain to people why I couldn't just dock their EBT card for cigs, booze and lotto. Fucking lazy ass people from the apartments a 1/2 block away would rather pay the high cost of everything in our store than walk another 2 blocks to the discount food store that sold things dirt cheap. I had a nice truck at the time and these same fucking people would spit on it, throw their garbage in it, all sorts of shit.

And if they were short any amount, didn't matter if it was 50 cents for their cigs, or if they were positive that 5 dollar fucking lotto ticket was the one, just that I had to spot them 5 bucks so they could get it. If you didn't fork it over, you were an asshole.

Granted, I realize that this only accounts for a tiny portion of the population, but I'll be damned if my story doesn't match up well with most others with similar dealings.

It's not being poor that makes them this way though. I think many of these people are the way they are because they don't have to scratch for any of it, it's just handed to them. Welfare is just too easy to obtain, I mean, I would feel worthless if I wasn't atleast shuffling paper work, or if I was able bodied maybe helping clean up a park somewhere, answering phones, etc, just something to make me feel a sense of worth so when that check came in the mail it would feel like a paycheck instead of a handout.

I mean, doens't having some value to the world, even if it's only one other person, still mean anything to anyone, or am I just really stoned right now?

They are like that because they are trying to hustle anything they can. Just the way it is. Even if they had jobs. they would still try to hustle as much as they can

We own China also. It's their money we use to protect the sea lanes for Them. They can't get the money back except in the same way they lended it. When the notes are due.

If they "call in the debt" they crash the world's economy, and they are fucked. The people will riot. Think MAeD. Mutually Assured economic Destruction. Much more better than nukes.

All Govt, including the USA, fear the, out of control. Mob; the food rioting leading to looting, leading to burn it ALL, leading to off with their heads....and always have feared this.

You're not too stoned, anyone that has lived around or worked around HUD's know how much of a failure they are. It isn't because people have a lack of stuff, it just they don't respect what they do have because it's handed to them. I have contracted with hud properties and 90% of them choose to live in filth, clothes on the floor nasty ass dishes laying all over the house, old food all over the place and the smell you can never forget the smell. It's almost the same picture from apartment to apartment 2-4 young kids unbathed wearing dirty clothes sitting on the couch eating cereal watching TV while mama is in bed. What is sad is we sit around pretending that we don't know why education levels are low, drop out rates high, and underage pregnant kids are such a problem in these areas.

No one chooses to live like that. It's especially hard if you're a single parent. You could argue not getting pregnant at such a young age, but they're just a kid. Didn't you do stupid shit as a kid and given the opportunity, wouldn't you fuck like a rabbit?

With my wife and me working, it's hard enough as it is. When we're both home, one of us is always sleeping, and the other is taking care of the kids. I could just imagine if I was the only one. It takes 3 to 8 hours a day to keep this place up. The sink is always full. When we're both sick just for a few days, this place is a toxic waste site.

What you do choose is to act like those Spandy spoke of. Spending unwisely when you don't have it on booze and lotto is a choice. All those you spoke of are consequences of your situation you spoke, not a choice.

The government is just as much to blame and encourages it. It even advertises in spanish WIC and food stamps as a legit lifestyle choice. Then once you go on the dole, you get punished. You get less, even though you're working.

At some point the benefits should stop, but not so harshly you can survive on benefits, but you are much worse off if you go off. Their only choice is going back on, just to survive! This is done by the goverment to give those who hand out the hand outs a job. The government wants you to keep living that way.

I think all these programs should stop. In the long run, people will get better. But will never do it with these programs. It's sad, and I don't like it. At the same time, government is the bully.

We used to work with habitat for humanity through the carpenters union . We would do volunteer work and use these jobs to train apprentices building homes . I never saw a white family in over 50 homebuilding projects . What was disturbing though was the family who was getting the house were supposed to contribute something like 100 hours toward the project . They would always come out , do nothing but complain about everything and more often they seemed to have plenty of money for beer for themselves . I finally got fed up with the whole thing . I only remember 1 time where the family actually did some work and seemed to really appreciate their new home . It was a family like that one that made the thing worth it but the rest of them , we felt like they didn't deserve the home .

What's lol Bucky?

I never claimed as fact He was our savior, just that He was a real human being who once walked the earth.

There is no scientific proof of it. Only faith.
At the very least, the concept of Jesus is the stories based upon a few people who lived around the time Jesus was to have. His arrival was anticipated and there are a few others claiming they too were the Messiah the Torrah told. Then these stories were exaggerated and mixed with other myths, such as Osirus, etc. The concept of a Christ like figure isn't a new one and they too were based on real events and historical persons.

Say I could put undeniable evidence at your feet, would you accept it then, or still choose to deny Him?

There is absolutely not a single shred of evidence Jesus ever existed. There is no evidence he ever lived and no one living during his time ever wrote a single word about him. Many religions have a figure born of a virgin who is born on Dec 25th and after his death is resurrected.

not to be prejudiced, but the fact that you say "Him" has me pre-concerned about the nature of the evidence. also, no evidence is ever undeniable.

but i would be happy to humor you. i've already seen the arguments for the existence of a jesus of nazareth.

I think that's what I said. Derp. Notice: persons, Osirus, they too were based on real events and historical
persons.

And this is exactly why I can't debate it with you. God could be right in front of you, and you would find reason to deny Him, for whatever reason. The whole point is for you to come willingly. What good would it do either of us to debate any of it further? Might as well just dust off the 360 and kick your ass madden style, that would be more productive.

We can still be friends though, until orders change.
