My godzilla's have older leaves turning yellow with brown spots, like a banana peel, that's what it reminds me of... I thought possible mag def, but wasn't sure... don't wanna give it the wrong treatment if it's not what's wrong... but it's only on my godzilla's... the rest of my plants are fine... the godzilla's are quite big... possible root bound? They all get the same shit... Also this may seem like a common sense question, but when you fert. if the plant is larger than the others should you be giving it more nutrients? All my plants are around the same age... I have like 5 strains...

lol common sence tells me yes...

you need pics if your asking questions on plant problems...without pics its like calling the doctor and saying i dont feel good, whats wrong with me.?

These are the leaves on my godzilla grapes.... any advice? I wasn't sure if it's a mag. def....or what?????

id say ph is off in the medium and caused the deff in nitro and now has rust disease and phos deff. check run off and i bet its low. also no mention of ph of foods or soil type

The soil I'm using is pro mix and we are using advanced nutrient sensi grow A & B....w/ voodoo juice.... your prob right my ph prob is off.... I'm gonna check my soil.... see what's up and I'll let you know what the results were... thanks for the advice. It's hard when your new to the game, I'm a long time gardener, but first Medi-grow and alot of the deficiencies look so much alike, I don't wanna add an insult to my already pissed off plant ya know! :(

Pro-mix is ph balanced out of the bag. It has lime in it to buffer and stabilize the PH. What is your water source like? Really to get some real help fill out the form because I highly doubt it's the promix ph that is off.....

having lime in any soils means nothing to the ph being out.
if you used something in the range of 5.9 to 6.3 for the water and foods going in then that was the right erea. to wet to long or often and not letting them dry, or using to much ec and not enough run off willl pull the pH down. also poor room conditions being they dont process foods like they want or need to and pulls pH down to. lots can do this. normaly the pro mix is set at 6.8 in a new bag and has anywhere from 700 to 900 ppm new. will carry them about 2 to 3 weeks with just watering.
ill bet my left nut its low in the pro mix

I'm pretty sure it's the roots... I think it has chlorosis, i checked my levels and all my nutrients is on...I thought they needed to be repotted wks ago, and I researched chlorosis and when a plant becomes root bound and some plants like to be rootbound, not MJ she loves to spread her roots vigorously.... so when she becomes rootbound what happens is it first slows growth of the plant, the plant will continue to live and look healthy, but no new shoots will appear, no new growth will open, so then if she's not repotted she will stop intaking nutrients and this will eventually cause chlorosis.... the most important thing about a plant is the roots, it's like our hearts... and alot of problems start exactly there and you don't see it till the leaves start to show signs of it... alot of people have smaller plants in their grow rooms, mine are rather large, so I guess I really should've thought of that before I began... I have them in 5 gallon buckets...but...it's time to upgrade! If it works and my godzilla's turn into motha' f***king King Kong I'll post pics!!!! Wish me luck! It's that voodoo baby..... :)
.....Oh yeah my water's ph is dead on at like 6.5..... I use an old skool remedy my grandma taught me to adjust levels.... it costs like $2 and lasts like 2 months.... gotta love grandma's they got something for everything!!!!

ive never had root bound plants more a myth. im actualy kinda showing that in 1 of my journals here. all are in bigger ptios and 1 in a 1 gal...been in it since beginning of sunner and is just as good as the others. just needs more care is all. more often to water or food them. dont know who told ya all that info on them not growing. mine are and are now in flower 27 days with 2 foot colas roughly

My homeboy has an outdoor grow in his back yard.....this plant he has is the size of a midsize car..... no exggareration at all.... it's massive... it's like Lil' shop of horrors. It's like 10ft tall and oh so round.... it's absoluetly amazing, I was like wow what'd you give it steroids, hormones.... come on for real it's crazy, you can see it from the street corner! Oh of course it's caged and has 3 pitbulls gaurding it and sleeps outside in his tent! He's a dedicated man....can't wait to eat the rice krispie treats off that girl's butter!!!

Right I hear ya, but different strains are totally different, I mean my dairy queens are fine, looking lovely... and they are bout 36" tall bushy and green...happy as can be. My
G-13's are 7ft tall and skinny girls.... they have a bigger root system, I give them breathing holes and I can feel their roots.... and the Godzilla's are like 41" tall and probably as round as I'd say 3ft or better, they are like the fat girls outta the bunch, and when I stick my finger in the bucket their roots are so plentiful and hard... like they are suffocating in that bucket gonna burst out like incredible hulk...seriously! My Hilter youth she is a local strain, and she is part indica and sativa she has enormous, fat leaves and yet she's not bushy she's taller, more slender... my Blueberry Jam is oh so stinky and she has skinnier leaves like a sativa, yet she is stout and bushy like the dairy queens....average size she's bout 38".... they are 2 months old and I'm set for flowering on Oct 1st.... yeah I definitely agree they prob need more water then the rest... I guess I have to think about accommodating their size... I found stuff about chlorosis on a horticulture website...basically a rootbound plant can lockout nutrients that cause chlorosis.... Next time you grow just try a bigger pot....just on one plant.... let me know what it does....

Sorry I dont have any answers for your probs but I was wanting to ask u your grandmas remedy for the ph you were talkin about. I'm interested in what it is as I'm battling the ph of my water

sure if something went wrong and the roots choked thems3elves out and the plant dies its root bound, but very rarely that happens. it will just slow the growth and roots will die and be replaced with new ones. especialy using microbes in there. that is one of their jobs to eat old shit and turn it back to food as they shit it out. then the plant eats it again and it starts all over again.,

plant and pot size is more determined by veg time. and also once we are done the initial 12/12 stretch there realy isnt any more growth anyways to bind em up. just replaces old with new now, thats why we stop that stretch after a couple weeks. and other stuff but that one reason

chexck that run o0ff next time thet dry up. ec and pH if you can do both.....or ppm

Update on my godzilla's... i did transplant...and wow, the plants had an amazing root system, they were in 5 gallon buckets and I put them into 10 gallon, the whole shape of the bucket was roots....it was quite crazy, they seems to be doing good, she has new growth forming and no more leaves turning yellow... I checked my soil and the ph and everything was at good levels. I did give her some nutrients after transplant though.... she seems happy!
