I have a syringe of GT thats been in a small stable fridge for 2years. Its probably dead but im bored and figured i'd give it a shot. If there is only a few spores left is there anything i can do to help their chances? injecting the entire syringe into honey for a week first? Pop corn tek or BRF?

Ive looked a bit online but getting a straight answer is kinda hard.

Thanks,

Shake up what you have left and make a LC out of light karo syrup...make as many as you like...Plus if by what you say there's only a few left are you talking about cc's or spore clumps for what you can see there are untold thousands more that you cant

Thanks for the quick responses guys i really appreciate it.

Canndo, Ive seen this tek(<-link) and it seems like it should work. Any suggestions on it? i think probably only use my syringe on 3-5 jars vs his 20

Who, I have never seen karo in my local stores but ill try a few of the specialty shops

Liquid culture is three dimensional, you want to work on a plain. But figure a sleeve of dishes is twenty bucks and pre made agar another twenty. If you are recovering something rare great, otherwise just buy another syringe.

Yeah ill be trying to knock up some jars in a few days, thinking WBS. I still want to order a few new syringes but a good reliable vendor is hard to find for Canada. Sporeworks is my best option unless anyone has any other ideas?
