Old skool..

Hi all, I'm an old skool kinda guy, been puffing away for 20 years or more, Just doing my 1st grow 5th week of flower, northern lights.

I like older strains like ak47, and northern lights, orange bud etc... Theyr either sweet smelling, or real pungent like B.O. (armpit sweat) or like cts pissy smells, skunks etc. While I do really like these old heads,, I'm finding these newer flavours and aromas, like the cheeses and some others.

What I'm smoking now is exactly what I'm wanting to grow next. The las who sold it me don't know what strain it is.. but I'm having trouble describing it. I'll try I'm thinking citrus, but don't know if what I think is citrus is citrus, it's kinda chemicaly smelling too, strong tang to the back of the nose. kinda reminds me of the artificial-like smell on the cheese varieties, but don't smell like cheese strains, just kinda got that unique quality aroma. Could be described as sour. but again I dont know if what I call sour, is what sour IS, if you get me err lol.
So key words are - citrus, chemical, sour, and does the same thing as cheese does, but dont smell like cheese. Though this sweet, acrid lovely smell lingers for ages and makes me want to keep rolling, but at £10 for a measly 0.8 and not totally dry is a rotter hha.. please help me with smells and strains like these new funky, lush smelling weeds if you can.



If you'r like me and don't know you'r smells hop on board and find out,
or..
If you do know what kinda weeds I'm trying to explain then help a guy out?

PS: I don't really want to be pointed towards dank, earthy, cats pissy skunky buds, I know those.

Og kush maybe? Best tasting strain in the world. My opinion of corse.

The best way I describe og is pinesol cleaner soaked tennis balls mixed with lemon and gas with some skunk mixed in there.

I keep smoking long after I'm high just for the flavor.

Yeah those kushes are always on the sites, people love it not tried yet that I know. I heard a friend say it might be queen bee..? Who knows

Hope you get an idea of what it is. I've got four bagseeds flowering and I wish I knew what strain they were. Two are pretty identical and one is just amazing. She took a beating in veg and has bounced back unbelievably nicely. If I would have known she was a female before flowering, she'd have been cloned for sure. She's in mid flower now so I want her to concentrate on those beautiful colas she's forming. I'll be watching this thread to see what I can learn to help narrow down unidentified strains.


@kgp I'm hoping to enjoy some og kush around Christmas with a 2-3 week cure and again around Memorial Day weekend when it has cured for around 5 months. She's currently flowering right now, nicely might I add.

take all the colas off and re-veg the bottom of you'r nice plant.? You won't need to put much concentration on it, chuck it in a cupboard under a flourescent light? After harvest..
