Old plant problems.

Okay lets start off to say there were 5x Kandy Kush, 5x Cindy 99s. They were clones, and when I recieved them looked magnificent. I went to Home Depot and bought some good, organic soil with good shit in it, I think it was me giving them chemicals only a month or so old, but back to the story. The weed grew really fast when first transplanted into their 5g black plastic pots (another possible downfall) after about say a month a hit them with a little bit of chemicals 5-1-1 (Fish/kelp fert) and they took off again for a little. The heat finally hit my town really hard, and the same time I hit them with more chemicals this time a little bit of Miracle Grow Starter or something. They stop growing, and in fact start getting yellow, to completely black crispy leaves. Even on new growth. The plants stopped growing tall / bushy, only the stock widen. The Cindy 99s stock were literally purple. I started to get really worried about my babies after a month of no new growth, so I decide I'm digging holes and putting them in the ground right now, so I did after about 1~3 days I got them all in, mixed their dirt with my back yards dirt (which is like clay, dirt, rocks..) it grows pretty good weed actually. The cindy 99s heal about after 2 weeks. (This means I only got about 1~1.5 months of veg time on my plants which really sucked). Now they're all budding. Some Kandy Kushes have tiny bottom nugs (very airy, still crystally). Their tops are very small (in retrospect the plant itself is tiny, for outdoors , its maybe 2 feet. (The 5 Kandys). The Cindys got to about 4 feet (2 feet just in that 1 month), they look much better... You guys know what the fuck I did wrong so I can get more bud next year... I'm harvesting like 1~2 pounds when I should have got 10.
The temperature of outside reached 116 early here for us this year, and was in tripple digits for about 1~2.5 months.
I was going to transplant my babies when they got another foot or so, but they never achieved it, even any growth in the pots.

Sounds like you had Nute lockout plus the high temps didnt help,I was given some CindysxWW and there Sativa dom rt.THt was over 7yrs ago and a heatstroke so really dont remember?

Yes. "and shit".
Combination of the heat and the lockout, they got cooked.
With temps like that, all you can do is try and keep them out of the 1-5 afternoon sun and keep them watered.
With temps in the teens, sounds like you are up around Redding or Red Bluff.
Better hope you guys don't get any snow this year or that'll really do them in.

God damn you're good. Redding buck-o. Thanks for the love hope it all goes well, we rarely ever get snow so I'm not worried.

I'm hoping the nugs will be dense, because they're frosty. They're just tiny plants so they got to be dense or I'll get barely any weed.

With the heat that dam city gets, I never would'a thought you guys get snow, but about 10 years back, I came through there, stopped at one of the Black Bears, got out in my cowboy boots with steel taps, and fell directly on my ass in the icy parking lot.
Funny how coming southbound the snow usually stops right there between Dunnigan and Weed.

Yes, sometime we get cold winters, and snow often. Never really more then a ft for the 18 years I've lived here.
But the weather is actually good for pot if you give them enough water.
