right on thanks man so i should just get some sharp siccores and clean with alky and cut close to the stem? first time i ever trimmed or cut anything off a plant.....do i leave a little branch or cut as close as possible??

Hey I am also a "green" grower, but I had a severely overnuted plant that eventually went hermaphrodite, and after it became healthy again by flushing like you did I pulled off all those wrinkly looking leaves and it just bushed up with a new branch from every place I pulled off the leaves. I think as long as your roots are healthy, you could chop off all but one node, maybe more, and it would still grow back to a huge tree with enough time. Clones are the opposite concept, cutting off the roots, forcing it to grow new ones.

alright just was wondering by the pics above how long do you think it will be tell i can start cutting clones off ...... is a node where a branch starts?? :?: and im looking for a branch to have three nodes on it to be a clone right ??? :?: does it matter how long they are or how tall the plant is ???? :?: thanks for any help you can offer

lmao leave a half a 1/2 stem ???? for the clones if your talkiing about the yellow leaves they are gone and already have been replaced with new sprout leaves

I'd wait to clone. The leaves sprouting in between the stem and fan leaves are going to grow out. That is where I take my cuttings. There are many ways/procedures out there and Im sure everyone will tell you something different except: always sterilize tools!!! Also use a rooting hormone to "help" the rooting process
