ok i got some cfl's from wally world 20 watt. it says the package of 3 puts out 1200 lumm's could this be right?

You can not add lumens together..i don't know why.. but I am 99.999% this is true...

so whatever one light has.. that is YOUR LUMENS... you just have 3 lights..

And since they are all the same light, they each have the same amount of lumens..

I would recommend the 42 watt BULBS for a decent yield

you definately need more power at least 2 42w cfls for one plant but no, you get 1200 lumens from each bulb so you would have 3600 lumens if you used all three

Yeah that package is referring to per bulb.

Just so you know, that 3-pack is about enough light to grow half a plant.

the 3 lights are all they had at the time so im going to lowes tomorrow for my 42watters
