hey ppl

my first few grows were in 2007, all went well no real problems,

start of 2008 i did a grow and nothing since,

orderd some seeds recently, germed them in a paper and put them on top of my boiler for a 2 days,

took them out and they had sprouted so i planted them, using a 400 HPS as the light i have good ventilation ( small fan blowing)

and nothing..... after a week went by i dug them up some had grown the shoot a little bigger then when i had planted them, and some had started to work their way up to the top, and stopped....

so i ordered a 5 pack of lowryder fems, same deal 2 days germin, then planted....

and again nothing after a week, i dug them up same deal as before, looked like they had started to grow shoots a little bigger then just stopped,

back when i last did my grow i was sure i used a really really small amount of bio grow in the water and watered them with that, could it be that killing them?? maybe i should use just water?

i have order a pack of PPP fems , they will be here tomorrow,.. now should i just germ them like i do in toilet paper and lots of water, once they pop on say day 2 plant them, then just water and nothing else...,, could the problem have been too much water even...?

should i plant them water then wait till the top layer of soil goes dry looking.... i don't want to risk letting the roots dry out so young tho...

please get back to me as i am losing faith, have done about 4 grows before and never ever had a problem with germination, what am i doing wrong man:roll:

i've used the bio line for ten years and i wouldn't advise adding any grow at the seedling stage.i would reccomend getting some bio root juice. It always worked great for me with cuttings and seedlings

That is the the way I germed seeds forever. Now I soak them in water for 24 hrs and plant in seeding soil. for the first two weeks use a low power light flour/cfl. If you like the sounds of this check out the growing 101 thread. sorry don't know how to link threads.

ok no bio grow nutes,

just some water, do i use much water... by that i mean should i say have a twice a day regiment on the go, small watering when i get up, and a small watering before i go to bed, or should i wait till the top layer of soil gets dry?...

also if you know of any websites you could recommend for nutes etc, and are discreet with packaging etc... i ordered all my bits from Dr cronic back when he still had a grow section, he was very discreet with it, i don't want some guy turning up saying hey, i have your bio nutrients etc etc... i wouldn't mind puting in an order for some root juice

I honestly wouldn't order from any site.i had a real close call after doing a mail order some years ago.If you go to this site www.sunlightsupply.com and do a dealer search it will show you the grow shops in your area.the bio line is great and i reccomend using it i just would wait until the plant is a little more developedi usually soak my seeds for 24hrs in a cup of water and then put them in heavily soaked rockwoolwait until they are rooted and then stick them in soil.
