Hey folks, was just doing some lst and i got a little entusiastic and the main stem split in half right at the Y formed from when i toped it, the split goes all the way down to the next node. ive tied the two sides together to help them heal. the will heal right? or should i jsut go cry in a corner now?

It should heal, might take a few extra days to see some new growth while it works on patching itself up.
I did kinda the same thing as you except probably not as bad, while i was tying her down, and it healed just fine, probably made it stronger :)

Damn man...that sux....should b OK...prolly set it back a week or so....lst=LOW stress training...u just performed hst... high stress training...it'll make it or break it...no pun intended...ha

lol yeah no kidding highstress training. wife having to hold the pot up for me so i cna tie the strings underneath it, complainign the whole time about how heavy it is and im not tying it fast enough. two year old son running aroudn the room trying to get into everything. yeah high stress training indeed. string got pulled to tight and SNAP.
hopefully you guys are right and it will heal itself nicely. that poor plant has been through a lot at least i was already planning on vegging a couple mroe weeks anyway

Just get the fractured surfaces back together and hold in place with ties or tape. You will know within 24 hours if it works or not, I bet it will. Take off the tape or ties after a week, you will get a big knot of a stem where it fuses back together.

My buddy did that exact same thing before, he taped it back together and then put two zip-ties around it...depending on how big your buds get, the extra support might be necessary for later!

She should make it! I've definitely had worse haha these plants are like that two year old of yours, they bounce back! Good luck!

Yeh same happend to me a week ago. Tied her down she was fine. Theni went to check on em an the mother f,er was spit by one of the nodes I topped her at. So I tired it back were it was and it stunted it but the bottoms are coming up more.. lol so kinda worked out she a bush now. Lesson learned

glad to hear everyone thinks it will be ok :) It actually might work out good by building a stronger hub for nutrient uptake

well since i already broke my smaller white widow in 2, i decided to go ahead and super crop my larger one, heres a before and after pic.
