Does anybody know what the meaning of "OG" is before the name of the strain? ive heard a lot of different answers and dont know which is right?

thanks. yeah ive heard a couple different answers. some say it means outdoor grown or original genetics.

the OG in "OG kush" does mean ocean grown, i dont know where it came from before the strain was ocean grown. but as soon as it was, thats what it ment
but dont let anyone tell you the OG in OG kush is for "Original Gangster"

haha yeah ive heard that from a couple people and knew they were wrong. im growing some og kush and thought it was just the name of the strain til i started hearing about other og strains

Yeah the Og are a good strain, I about to be harvesting my Platinum OG soon.
Mmm they smell sooo good.

yeah all my plants are just starting to bud and the og kush is already smelling great after about a week. its a sativa right?

checked them out on utube, they seem to know their shit... so i ordered a few fem ogk from them.... i think it may be the only ogk in seed form, but i dunno. we'll see if it smells and tastes like ogk from bc... i dont know about it being a sativa... it gets u competely blitzed and hits u hard like an indica... maybe its a hybrid. i dont know if anyone knows 4 sure... sure is strong smell n flavor though...

I am currently growing Cali Connections version of OG Kush in seed form. It is currently 4 weeks in 12/12 and the 4 I have are simply covered in trichs and the lemon pinesol smell is really starting to come on. I will know in about 6 more weeks just how close to the original it is.
I believe OG is considered more of a hybrid. It has sativa leaning leaves and grows more like a sativa but the high is more of an indica.

yes it does grow like a sativa and has more of an indica high certainly a hybrid good description. if you have grown from clone i want to here your opinion on cali connects version. lots of people are growing out his strains lately.
