OG 18 VS Tahoe OG

Alright folks, which do you prefer?

last couple batches of 18 we pulled were TLO and had that fruit loopy cereal flavor in the background. all fuel all day. abusive to the lungs. but they've had this beautiful fruit loopy cereal pie crusty flavor… just perfect!

You can't go wrong with either of those, there's some great phenos in both!

Tahoe is still the best og I ever grew from seed and I grew a couple but not the og 18

Same here but I grew only 2 18's. They were more on the skunky side. I grew a couple packs of tahoe, most were shitty but one I would put against the top clone only og's. It was absolutely amazing. I've been searching for a plant like that in seed and have been unsuccessful. So I just recently thought to myself, if the dankest og I grew from seed came from cc, why not try again? So I'm gonna. Running a bunch of ggg right now so I'm hoping to find something equally as nice, but only time will tell.

Anyway my vote goes to the most hated company out there.

I've grown this season the Larry OG which was an amazing plant, pretty stable (First time I've had six identical plants) with unbelievable taste but with a shitty crap smoke, maybe just a little above average (C+). The OG18 I've grown together was absolutely FIRE!

Don't give Swerve that much credit, Arjan and GHS are still the most hated, Swerve is just a cheap Cali knock-off of them.
Seriously though, good luck with the GGG, and CC Tahoe, when you run it again.
Just because I don't like Swerve's practices and behavior, doesn't mean I hold it against those who choose to grow his gear, to each their own.

Anyways, I vote OG 18, because I've been thoroughly disappointed every time I've had Tahoe.

I've grown (outdoors) both Buddha Tahoe OG (as opposed to Tahoe OG without the Buddha prefix) from Cali Connection and Reserva Privada OG#18 for two years running. Both from femmed seeds. I love them both.
Here's my take:
The OG#18 smells rank of diesel fuel but the buds are not as dense as the BTOG. You can smell Chemdawg in it's lineage that's for sure. My friends keep asking for it, so I'm ordering another batch for 2014. $98 per 6 fems. It's a kick ass strain, the smell itself sells it. A moderate producer.
The BTOG produces hard golf ball nuggs not as smelly, but I think it is more potent. A real good producer too. Terribly expansive on the lungs...you will hack. Shitty germ rates, but if you get one going you're in for a real nice surprise. I've got 18 seeds ready to pop this spring again. at 115 per 6 femmed seeds it aint easy on the wallet. Now I know most hate swerve, but I don't care this strain has been the best in my garden for two years running and I'm sticking with success.

I dont like OG 18 at all. Nothing like what I expect to get from an OG. Has a much more sour diesel smell and no lemon pinesol smell. Also tends to get real airy and hairy. Nothing like I expect from an OG. In fact, it is the worst representation of OG I have grown from seed.
Tahoe, on the other hand, is pure lemon pinesol funk.
