Off the Wall Question

I know I read somewhere on here ( have been searching everywhere & can't find it) about dispensaries paying $20/hr to grow for them. I have a friend who has his CG card & is interested in this. He's been out of work for awhile & this was brought up in conversation and he jumped on it. Where would he go or call to find out about this?

The local dispensary... Pretty sure they handle their own hires.

Seems like a job a dispensary owner would only give to one of there buddies.

you guys are from cali, here its a little different. most good growers will make more as a caregiver than they will as a grower for a dispens. and to SickofPain, i heard its closer to 10/hr and ganskter is right about give them a call, the shop in auburn was looking a while ack but i heard it was a sketch deal. "cheap pay, feed only what the owner says, picked dead leaves and finally get hassled for low output". but this is second hand, give em a call!

Thanks Cerb, I told him same thing, call em & find out. I personally wouldn't grow for a disp, but it's rough times for a lot of people, he's just trying to check out options.

also, talking to a few friends, its closer to 10/hr at 32-36 hours a week.

Plus I heard they'll make you sign a non-compete and won't allow you to be a caregiver as well.

Even in cali, No way you'll be getting paid 20hr. @ a dispense. Unless the owner knows you and does it on purpose..
