Fucking hate New Years but I love doing stuff like this at the end of the year. So here it is, ANY GENRE, ANY ALBUM, ANYTHING MUSIC. Mine will be in [these] brackets. Only rule is that it had to be released in 2013. And please, make this about YOUR favorites, not the medias. Dont hate on each other, Music is Music.

Album of the year: [Yeezus] Not because its Kanye
Lyricist of the year: [Kendrick Lamar] I truly think he wont ever lose this lol
Song of the year: [Power Trip] It Bumped okay!
Concert of the year: (This is based on wherever you went lol) [Yeezus] If you guys saw what he did.... Legendary
Artist of the year: [J Cole or Earl] Or JT
Best new artist: [Chance the Rapper] Joeybadass
Best group: [The Internet] But TDE didnt release anything.
Best Duo Record: (Any song that had features) [The End Is Near] Ab soul x Mac Miller

If there is any other topics to add, let me know Ill add them.

Hope people do this while listening to their favorite music and you know..

Yeezus was cool...cause its yeezus lol
I think big krits was nice..i like more southern rap...seems your wanting rap/hip hop albums

Kendrick had features on literally everyone's song and came with verses no one could touch which is why i said LYRICIST. No album but he still released songs, hes the most relevant rapper next to Drake and Cole maybe, no one touches kendrick otherwise.
Don't get me wrong, Krit's album was nice, so was a lot of artists, im just naming the best in my opinion you know? But i like the music choice haha, producer/rappers are dope too

Well you did say album..and being featured a lot doesn't actually make you great.. it means you have a strong media presence and get a lot of airtime but whatever's .. 2 chains and lil Wayne come to mind .. so does future..they aren't great artists, their nice and I'll buy the album but compare them to an artist with real underground presence, around here z-ro comes to mind. there's just no comparison, z-ro will continue to be played for years to come.. but when you mention drake and Cole as "relevant" that tells me a lot about your tastes..I'm more into the southern underground . honestly I don't think an album was released this year that I was excited about..yeezus I suppose is the only one worth mentioning simply cause ye can do no wrong.. he's no lyricist but that's not what I look for. I would take meek mill over Kendrick lyrically .. I would bump pushas album before I thought about most others
To me it was a boring year in music.. big krit probly has my vote for favorite...

I don't know where you're looking man, Kendrick is near Lyricist of the year. I know features mean nothing, But I based that category off verses and LYRICS haha. So yeah, Kendrick didnt have an album but all of his verses combined, Lyricist of the year.

And I dont think you understand when I say relevant. I mean relevant and good to the world, not me personally. And with that being said, yeah this year wasnt the best in rap/hip hop which explains why I have a limited amount of variety on the list.

And no, I would never listen to Meek or buy a future album. But hey if thats you go ahead, music is music :)

Stay High too
