Odor from autoflowering plants (Easy Rider)

Has anybody ever grown Easy Rider from Amsterdam Marijuana Seeds? If so do they have a noticeable odor while growing? I have 10 that I'm starting and I'm trying to determine if I need to build a carbon filter. Thanks for your response.
 
I'm growing three Easyryders right now, day 33. They are already starting to develop a fairly stout odor, kind of a musky, earthy smell. Not really strong, but definitely distinct. I expect full flowering to be fairly stout. I'm lucky, though, that I live in the country, so odor is not as big a problem. Do you live in town, and are you exhausting outdoors? If so, filter is necessity. Remember this: smell is one of the key ways people (especially trained people) can detect a grow. If you live among others, get or build a filter. Don't be one of those people who later tell others to filter their exhaust so they don't end up in jail like you. As stupid as it is, marijuana is still illegal in most states. Don't forget that.
 
Yea, I'm in town and growing in a shed that is next to an alley that people sometimes walk down. I've heard autos don't smell much but it sounds like they do a little based on what you said. I guess I better get to scrubbing. Also, 10 will probably be much more noticeable than 3. Thats cool you're outdoors. I have a small garden but there's no way I could slip in some autos without them getting noticed so I have to bring the operation indoors to my chagrin.
 
All pot smells, some strains are just more skunky then others. I have some Auto's Im working on right now and they have the same odor as the AK-48's of the same age. They aren't super dank, but nothing is in veg, wait till mid to late flower, thats when you'll be able to tell =D
 
Just finished up some autos, Vertigo and Pandora. The Vertigo was super stinky while flowering, the Pandora not very much. Both had to go on a 12/12 schedule the last few weeks as I had some photo periods that had to go into flower and I didn't have the room at the time to separate them. I probably lost some on the yield but the smoke was excellent. The Pandora was especially nice tasting. As nice as any I have ever tasted. I have babies of 4 auto strains started, Vertigo, Pandora, 60 Day Wonder, and Auto Jack. Along with some photoperiods. I now have a set up where I can keep the autos on 20/4. I'll veg the photo periods on the same schedule then move them into the flowering room when they get a decent size.
 
Easy Rider, I just started 10 easy riders myself. What was the outcome of your situation? Odor bad? Did you end up using a carbon filter?
 
I only had 5 of them going, but after the first two and a half weeks they started smelling. It was an overnight thing, there was no odor and then "bam" it was there and noticeable. I used Ona Gel which worked great. However, they definitely put out a noticeable odor. It wasn't super potent like skunk or anything but it was noticeable enough to get you busted if you don't use a carbon scrubber or Ona Gel. When I first started growing them I was going to do it without anything to treat the air, but after the first few weeks I quickly changed my mind and had some Ona Gel shipped overnight. So, yes, please do yourself a favor and get a carbon scrubber or some Ona Gel. The Ona Gel only lasts for about 6 weeks so you'll want to buy 2-3 of them if you go that route. Next time, I'm just going to go with a carbon scrubber though. Goodluck.

Oh btw, not one of them were Auto's! 10 seeds 10 good plants though! Just jerked 2 males from the bunch and the other eight are flowering. They appear to be a mix bag of seeds or maybe 2-3 diff strains. I'm no expert. Seed came from Amsterdam Marijiana Seeds co. Can't recall where yours were from?
