Odor expectations + questions

I need to know how much odor to expect with my first grow. :-(
I'm thinking of having my vegging area in a closet right under the stairs. Which is in my room near the door to my room. I will be checking on the plants daily so that's how I will be getting new air in there. So how strong will the odor be during vegging stage? The strain I'm using is DP's Blueberry. My bedroom is 17x25ft.
 
All strains are diff but... Be prepared for the stink of ya life during flower.
Veg aint so bad my ice plants smelled like fruit loops one time during veg

Also I'm preparing a 4x3ft flowering "tent" in my bathroom. My bath tub has this panel I can remove to get cool air from under the house. Then for exhaust I'll stick it through the restroom ceiling fan thingy.
 
Rooms do not smell as noticable if they are kept cool and the hot Smelly air is constantly pushed out and replaced with Clean fresh air .
 
if the only fresh air your giving it is when you walk in the door they wont be very vigorously gowing plants......smells permeate things ( stink things up) and by the end of it your whole room should absoutely reek of weed (if you did it correctly)

good call, forgot to say that.....I have a carbon filter now after not using any filter for years......they work great and I dont like to buy the trendy grow stuff but this thing works....I have "can filters" and they are relatively cheap for what they do for your security and peace of mind......bad neighbors are a 100 times worse than a good cop at getting you in trouble.

I only use them in the flower room and they last for about 16 months (on a 24 hour 7 day a week fan) so plan accordingly.

can filters are popular.....I live in Humboldt County so I could get one at the gas station, if I were out of "cool country" I would look on ebay or online grow shops....I can tell you Humboldt Hydroponics and NorthCoast Horticulture are local humboldt shops that have online buying options....I go to Northcoast for all my stuff and they treat me great! Humboldt hyrdo has cool people too......I live within 1/2 mile of both shops and they are reputable and have been around for many years.

definetely, you should know there could be better out there...just what im using at the moment and it works........btw....it shut off 1 week ago for the afternoon and I came home to the smell wafting outside place and I have had many guest who cant smell a thing, including the girlfriends parents:lol:
 
nice man...odor control is a big deal for me seeing as how I live on the 2nd floor of a 3 story apartment building...
