Hey guys so i will be building a small grow box for one plant and plan to create a scrog. The height is only 2.5 ft with a 2ft width and 3.5 feet length and i plan to do it using some basic case fans

two 120 case fans connected to two 80mm fans in a small box inside to act as a booster chamber for the air. These fans will be double layers each with single sheet carbon filters and there will be one box with 2 fans for exhaust at the top and one for intake and 2 small 80mm fans to circulate air inside the wooden box.
This being my first grow i dont know how much smell will get neutralized by the carbon sheets and was hoping for some replies or tips.

Seedlings is growing quick and i will have pictures of the completed grow box when ready, peace all.

I would say any diy ideas, you wont know until you do a test run. I have never used carbon sheets. I have seen the air activated carbon for sale at the pet stores. I am going to be buying a new carbon filter soon, but i want to use my old one and see if i can replace the carbon element and simply have a spare on hand to switch out at any time. I have read into how carbon filters work and its a matter of have enough air activated carbon surface for the air to be "scrubbed" clean of odor and contaminents. So if it isnt working, perhaps increasing the amount of surface area in which the air contacts yhe carbon sheets. Like instead of haveair pass thru one sheet, make a cube box at the end of the fan so it has to pass thru 5 sheets.
