Odor Control!

Alright i have my first plant growing...

well enough of the introduction.

psych! jus a little bit more info.
i have it on 12/12 from seed cuse im limited to space and i dont care bout yield. jus fine with atleast 5 grams.
and its looking pretty darn healthy so far. (jus 4 days since it came up)



but im kinda getting worried bout the smell.

it doesnt smell now but later on when it flowers. (since its 12/12)
i was wondering how i could cover it up

its only one plant so i dont want to use a lot of money but i dont want it to smell in my house. Anyone got a sugestion/solution on making the odor stay neutral.?!

well you'll need a cheap exhaust fan but you could use this https://www.rollitup.org/grow-room-design-setup/63004-my-3-carbon-filter.html or you just get a time released scent sprayer right outside of the room you shouldn't need much for that small of a plant.

if your growing for jus 5grams. wtf is the point of growing? id smoke that in 3-4days, u prolly spent more money on everything to grow that plant and u could have bout 5 grams for the same amount prolly. I dont know do what u do it just doesnt add up to me. But goodluck with that

I think it works really good, and smells really good. But its not cheap! Even one plant has the potential to stink up your whole house. Its also not hard to make your own carbon filter. The only thing that cost money would be the carbon. There is an odor control thread you may want to read. Exactly how well does the Ona work? Do you have just Ona or do you also use carbon filters or other odor blocking things?

If you use just Ona, what kind of area are you growing in and how many plants?

the thread i read the person was doing a closet grow at the top of stairs the smell was strong at the front door and one container did the job by itself they had to adjust the number of holes drilled into the lid ,another thread talked about breaking up the solid and putting them into separate containers and placing them in diff. locals

I got the Gallon jug of Ona Pro on Ebay. I divided it up in to 2 smaller quart jars. (half the gallon is still full). One is IN the growroom. The growroom has a 2x4x5 tent with a DIY carbon filter exhaust. the carbon filter was helping a lot, but I needed more so I got the Ona. The other jar is in the room with the entrance to my APT. between the two, I feel (and smell) a lot more.....secure. If someone came IN my apt they MIGHT smell my grow. But I dont worry about the hallway outside or the smell wondering out the windows anymore. Oh and right now I'm 7 weeks flowering with 3 good size LST bushes. So it's wicked potent smelling without all the odor control.
