odor control in a small tent

Hi. I'm a new grower. Using a small tent. 2x4x4 feet. I have a 6" fan and carbon filter? Is this going to be enough filtration to avoid stinkin up the place.
 
Too get the most out of that area you should leave the fan and filter outside the tent if possible

Ya works great, and you can keep the fan and filter outside of the tent
 
3rd for ONA gel, especially if you toss it in a bucket with soil moist - will murder some of the strongest smells possible in terms of cannabis.
 
thanks for the tip on the ona gel. sounds like a good call. does on a cover up the smell or does it remove the smell. what I mean is, can you smell the ona? Is it just, like, a really strong odor coming from the ona that masks the weed smell?
 
To save space. Some people say carbon filters work better if you suck air through them rather than blow air out of them though. I don't know because I've only tried one way.
 
Ona is a neutralizer .. ONA = Odor Neutralizing Agent - would get the concentrate, and put it in a bit of soil moist - perhaps with a DIY fan setup...
 
One more vote for the ONA.

I bought this "just in case" and am really impressed with getting rid of general household odors. I just put a tablespoon so out in a cup or dish and let it do it's thing. Odors just disappear.

Tip: Don't put it in styrofoam, I put some in a thin styro dish and it ate holes in the bottom, could potentially could damage finishes.
 
I use a 6" 400cfm at around 70% fan speed with a 6" 400cfm phresh filter. My tent size is 36x36x72 and I have had no issues with smell, just fresh air being pumped out. I have it set up filter>light>wall of tent>fan, with > being duct.

Agreed... or if you want something for super-strong stinky strains in mass quantities... definitely get a bucket, toss in soil moist, throw ONA in it.. drill holes near the top of the bucket (as the soil moist will expand big time).. toss a fan on top blowing down which forces ONA out the holes.. ta-dah, mass room odor cleaning hella fast.
