Nutrients Yes/No?

Im making my own soil mix. Nutrients are expensive and non around only MG. Any suggestions on what should i do?
 
Just a good soil like a scotts organic or something, and perlite, you really dont need nutrients. As long as you got a good soil mix and keep eveything else in check and your plant will grow fine. Im not a big fan of adding all kinds of nutes.
 
Im not a big fan of someone else deciding what my baby is eating. They need nutes, just like everything else that grows does. If you get a soil that has no nutes then you control what your plant eats
