nutrients and fertilizer

Hey guys hope its not a stupid question i looked around without success. I am using regular soil a premix type. I bought fertilizer and now im wondering if i need to buy nutriments. Plus when do i start using fertilizer?

fertilizer and nutrient are used synonymously. you start using them around the 5th node, or when you notice growth take off.

What kind of nutrients should be used? Do i need nutrients even if i am growing in premix soil?

even with pre-fertilized soil, you'll want some bloom nutes and minerals
