nutrient mixing question

I'm growing in a hempy bucket. Say I only needed a ..25 gallon of nutrient mixed with water per watering. Can I make a whole gallons worth of nutrient and water, water the plant and save the rest of the mix. Will that cause nutrient lock out or anything to have the rest of the mix sitting there till I need to water again? Thank you for any help

It will be fine indefinitely if it is a chemical fertilizer. If it is an organic fertilizer add about 4 to 8 drops drops of regular chlorox unscented chlorine bleach before lidding up the bottle.

I grow Hempy and keep my nutes mixed for 1-2 weeks. After that they go through a whole jug once I get em in 2G buckets.

do you flower all the way in 2 gallon buckets? im going to get my buckets tomorow and wondering if that would be enough i dont have room for much bigger than that. , my clones are almost ready to transplant (pics of clones and cloner in a seperate thread )
