i heard that in some cases there is like a "trichome boom" where the last two weeks trichomes appear all over , so is this true? or suggestions on what i should do?

try to post it in the infirmary forum. also from reading your post its very hard to understand what your saying. you say you were at 1.0ec and then backed down to 300. your not clear here. there is no 300 ec. are you talking ppm. also you just posted it and sometimes it takes time for someone who knows whats happening to see but you would probably get a quicker response if you posted it in the correct forum.

i would definately get some PH up and stabilize after flushing..
I also would feed rather lightly for a couple weeks.. The bad news is that they wont recover too well in time for harvest but you will still get smoke out of it..
That looks like all it is, just a PH issue and take it easy for atleast a week.. Those purple stems is indicative of a nutrient deficiency often caused by low/high ph problems..

at 8 weeks no matter what you do it wont change much unless its a10 week strain. you can just flush with plain water or go with a real lite level of nutes to finish with. one thing your likely to find out is youll learn more from your mistakes than from what you read. and dont panic when you have a problem but systematicly try and pin what the cause is by trying different variables one at a time especially with a hydro system you can change things around pretty fast. good luck.
