Just pick a reputable brand and learn it. You'll get the results you're looking for. That being said, I like GH for hydro and botanicare for dirt.

I use botanicare pure blend pro bloom, liquid karma, and cal-mag+ all made by botanicare for hydro

Advanced Sensi Grow, General hydroponics LUCAS Bloom. Lucas is good for a rookie. I found WW a light feeder, maybe 850 ppm @.5
